In short: blurt. has no accounts, no cookies, no tracking, no ads and no analytics tools. We don't store any personal data ourselves. Your progress stays on your device.

2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (for example your IP address, the time, the page requested and browser information) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in running the site securely and quickly). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (its Data Processing Addendum, which is part of Cloudflare's terms).
3. Storage on your device
So you keep your progress, the game saves your points, played rounds, your answers, your streak and settings (such as sound on/off) in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), because this storage is strictly necessary for the game progress you asked for.
4. Microphone and speech recognition
The microphone is only used when you start a round and allow access in your browser. Speech recognition is a feature of your browser: depending on the browser, the audio is sent to the browser's maker and turned into text there (for example Google for Chrome, Apple for Safari, Microsoft for Edge). Their privacy policies apply to this. We never receive or store audio or text; the recognised text is only used inside your browser to check your answers. You can always play without the microphone and type your answers instead.
5. Contacting us by email
If you write to info@blurt.gg, we process your email address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries), or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message is about a contract. Emails to this address are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc., see above) to our mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We delete your message once your enquiry is dealt with, unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. Sharing
The result image and result text are created on your device. They are only shared if you tap “Share card”, “Copy image” or “Copy as text” yourself.
7. Fonts
All fonts are hosted on our own server. No connection is made to Google or any other font provider.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Just email the address above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
